The NOISE portal is intended to provide tools to policy makers, stake holders and general public concerning noise reporting issues and complement the noise information at country and European level published at the EEA webpage.
The aim of the EEA Environmental Noise portal is to publish all EEA’s noise information from a unique dissemination site. It is expected to gather the different noise-related services such as the noise viewer, noise country fact sheets and EEA reports on noise, and other information considered relevant in view to facilitate the reporting of official noise information from EU Member States and other EEA member and co-operating countries (according to Directive 2002/49/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council).
